"O Cisteiro" is located in the pyramid building and
has a panoramic terrace overlooking the marina. It is great for fresh
fish, which you pick from chiller cabinets. |
"The Captains Table" or "Akvaviit" is located at the
end of the same block as O Cisteiro. This restaurant is Scandinavian and
provides slightly different cuisine and is highly recommended. |
Probably the best restaurant in Vilamoura, if not the
Algarve, is “Willies” in the Old Village, where a Michelin Star chef is
proprietor of small, intimate restaurant. Reservations recommended 289
380849. |
On the far side of the marina is the "Marinotel", the
main five star hotel of the resort and, obviously, boasting cuisine to
match. |
Expect to pay up to £25 per head (main courses
approx. €12)
“Dom Miguel” is located opposite McDonald and is
highly recommended for International Cuisine at reasonable prices – we
paid under £60 for 3 of us for a superb ‘nouvelle cuisine’ style meal.
“Colombo” is a sister restaurant located nearby
with more Potuguese style cuisine |
“Dom Alfonso” is near the taxi rank and provides
an interesting variation |
"Il Lambarda' in the marina is
good Italian to try |
The Chinese, Indian and Thai
are all fun to try |
“Casa do Pescador” in the square behind taxi rank
“Porto Plaza” which is in Marina above branch of
Banco Totta (far side from apartment) |
“Rei dos Mares” – good value and large portions – up
steps near Old Navy, on right. |
You will also find pizza bars, Chinese and Indian
restaurants, and even a McDonalds! |
